Hey There!

Originally from the US, I grew up in New York and trained as a ballet dancer for 17 years. I attended summer intensives at many prestigious companies throughout the US and Europe. I graduated high school a year early to pursue my Bachelor of Science in Ballet Performance at Indiana University Ballet Theater, the top university ballet program in the country. Here, I trained with esteemed faculty and performed many principal and soloist roles.

Upon graduation, I accepted an apprenticeship with Ballet Tucson in Arizona, but was furloughed due to Covid-19. I was at a loss. The career I had trained my whole life for was not possible anymore and it was time to start a new path in life. 

​

I took some time to work and earn money, before traveling the world on a gap year. I interrailed around France for six weeks, traveled throughout England, Scotland, and Wales, and spent a month visiting Italy, Spain, Austria, and Germany. The highlight of my gap year was visiting Nepal and trekking to Everest Base Camp and going on safari in the Chitwan Jungles.

My love of travel bloomed and inspired me to become a lifestyle writer. I attended City, University of London's esteemed MA Magazine Journalism department and received my master's with Merit.

I am currently the Assistant Editor at Toy World Magazine and Licensing.biz, based in the UK. Toy World is a B2B magazine covering toy industry content on print and digital platforms and is the leading UK toy trade magazine. Licensing.biz is an online trade magazine that covers cross-category licensing developments from the world of kids' and family entertainment.

I write a travel blog, titled Into the Unknown, where I talk about my experiences traveling around the world, containing all of my stories, tips, reviews, and adventures.

My journalistic dream is to travel the world full time, writing about my adventures and giving a voice to the people and places that are off the beaten path.
